Gift Card Terms and Conditions

eGift Card Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of eGift Cards issued by Debs Palette, operating via our online Shopify store at debspalette.com. By purchasing, using, or accepting an eGift Card, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any applicable Australian laws, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Issuance and Use

1.1 eGift Cards can be purchased through our online store and are issued in AUD.

1.2 eGift Cards may only be redeemed for products available on our Shopify store with the exemption of any retreat bookings at debspalette.com and cannot be used in any physical store, or exchanged for cash, credit, or other gift cards (unless required by law).

1.3 You are responsible for the safe keeping of your eGift Card. We are not liable for lost, stolen, or unauthorised use of eGift Cards.

1.4 eGift Cards are not reloadable. Once the value is spent, the card becomes void.

2. Validity and Expiry

2.1 eGift Cards issued by debspalette are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated or required by law.

2.2 After the expiry date, the eGift Card cannot be used and any remaining balance will be forfeited, except where required by the ACL or other applicable law.

3. Balance and Usage Limits

3.1 To check your balance, please visit the link in your original gift card email or contact us at Debspalette1@gmail.com.

3.2 eGift Cards may be used in multiple transactions until the balance is exhausted or the card expires.

3.3 No fees will be charged for the issue, activation, or use of an eGift Card.

4. Refunds and Returns

4.1 If you use an eGift Card to make a purchase and later return the item(s) in accordance with our Returns Policy, the refund (if applicable) will be credited back to a new eGift Card, not in cash.

4.2 eGift Cards themselves are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law.

5. Consumer Guarantees

5.1 These Terms do not exclude or limit any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)).

5.2 If a product or service purchased with an eGift Card is faulty, not as described, or does not meet consumer guarantees, you are entitled to a remedy under the ACL, which may include a replacement, repair, or refund.

6. Fraud and Abuse

6.1 We reserve the right to cancel any eGift Card or order, or suspend your access to our services, if we suspect any fraudulent, unlawful, or unauthorised use.

7. Changes to Terms

7.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website.

7.2 Continued use of your eGift Card after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
