Art Journal Page - You belong amongst the flowers - Saturday 7th November 2026

Join Deb to create an art journal page that focuses on using analogous colours in various layered mediums to create depth and using printed Ephemera and stencils for Focal points You will learn to use Lindy's Magicals and Distress inks along with using Rub-on's and stamps to enhance your projects. 

This workshop will run on Saturday 7th November from 10.00am - 1.00pm. This workshop is not available as a kit as you need to be in class to participate, get instructions and use supplies. Tea and coffee will be provided.  BYO lunch and drinks

Supply lists are outlined below. If you have what is listed as Class Share, feel free to bring it to reduce wait times. If you want to purchase any of the products you need, please contact Bek at Papercraft Palace for availability and quotes. 

Your Kit Includes:

•    single 300gsm sheet of WC paper
•    single sheet of thin Watercolour cardstock- used to die cut flowers or leaves (to colour then die cut) 
•    Printed Focal point – matching the colour palette
•    old paper from books or scraps
•    Ephemera - frames etc
•    Sentiments – stickers printed etc

Participant to supply - Basic Mixed Media Kit Including:

•    Journal to stick completed page into
•    Scissors for fussy cutting
•    Distress ink pads- brown and in the darkest colours from your palette (have a sponge applicator for          the brown) 
•    White ink pad – if you don’t have a white pad, use the lightest, distress oxide ink pad you have
•    Water soluble coloured pencils/crayons – stick to your palette
•    rub-ons – or use stamps and colour them
•    gel pens white and metallics.
•    Glue (helps if it is in a fine tip applicator) 
•    Paper towels
•    Small fan brush, water brush or small round brush
•    spray water bottle
•    Gesso: clear or white
•    Matho mat or Stencil with geometric shapes in various sizes like circles or triangles

Shared Class Supplies:

•    Background Stamps – including Asian script and small Asian flowers
•    Background stencils – geometric shapes, gradients, bursts, circles etc
•    embossing ink and clear embossing powder
•    Lindy’s Magicals– limit the colour palette and use Analogous colours (colours next to each other on          the colour wheel. 
•    Distress Ink Pads and Applicators in the same colour palette as the Lindy's
•    Stencils – Asian style Foliage (cherry blossom trees, bamboo plants etc) or trees, branches etc 
•    Layered stencils that can frame an image (nested circles or light rays etc)
