Mermaid Lagoon, Double Art Journal Page - Saturday 1st February 2025

Join Deb at her place in Brookdale WA to create this double art journal page using techniques like collaging rice paper,  painting and stencilling. 

This workshop will run on Saturday 1st February from 10.00am - 2.00pm. This workshop is not available as a kit as you need to be in class to participate and use supplies. Tea and coffee will be provided.  BYO lunch.

Your Kit Includes:

·         DA1484 Waves stencil

·         DFSA4811 Stamperia Rice Paper - Songs of the Sea Sailing Ship

·         Sequins – assorted

·         Paper to stamp on

Participant to Supply - Basic Mixed media Kit including:

Basic Mixed media kit

·         Art Journal – I did this in the large dylusions Journal, but it should work in the 8x8” as well.

·         Matte Gel Medium and wide brush to apply.

·         Clear gesso

·         Water brush, or fine round brush

·         Scissors

·         Sanding block

·         Sponges for paint

·         Strong, quick drying adhesive with a fine nosed tip (helmers, Couture, Heavy gloss gel medium)

·         Archival black ink pad or similar permanent ink pad and applicator with small head or brush.

·         Tweezers

·         Jewel picker (if you have one)

·         Black and white gel pen

·         Alphabet Stencil or Alphabet stickers/rub on’s- if you have any. (let me know if you would like me to order the Dusty Attic DA1770, alphabet stencil, I used in this layout $6.50)

Shared class supplies:

·         DA2159 Map Stencil and others similar

·         Acrylic paint: sand, cream, Turquoise, blush, or similar

·         Graphite texture paste

·         Text stamp

·         Brown water soluble pencil, crayon, watercolour pencil or similar

·         Shared use of Prima Mermaid stamp and stamp platform with archival Black ink

·         Washi Tape
