Sunshine - Cutout Art Journal Page - Saturday 8th March, 2025

Join Deb at her place in Brookdale WA to create an art journal page using Tracy Scott inspired techniques like lace cutting and basic colouring techniques. 

This workshop will run on Saturday 8th March from 10.00am - 2.00pm. This workshop is not available as a kit, as you need to be in class to participate and use supplies. Tea and coffee will be provided.  BYO lunch. 

Supply lists are outlined below. If you have what is listed as Class Share, feel free to bring it to reduce wait times. If you would like me to source any of the products you need, please contact me for information and quotes. 

Your Kit Includes:

·         Neenah Solar white Cardstock or similar A4 x 2.

·         Sentiment Sticker.

       Participant To Supply - Including basic mixed media kit:

·         Art Journal – I did this in the large dylusions Journal, but it should work in the 8x8” as well.

·         Paint brush, 1 inch wide flat or similar

·         Scissors for Fussy Cutting

·         Stamping Platform - if you have one

·         Craft Knife and sharp blade

·         Strong, quick drying adhesive with a fine nosed tip (helmers, Couture, Heavy gloss gel         medium)

·        Foam Tape

·         Archival black ink pad or similar permanent waterproof ink pad and applicator with small   head or brush.

·         Black and white gel pen

·         Colour pencils if you are wanting to do the "colour pencil on top of markers technique" or to enhance your painted images.

Shared class supplies:

*NOTE: If you wish to do your "colouring in" with Pencil and markers at home BEFORE the class, please message Deb and she will post your stamped sheets out to you. If you are happy to use paint with the technique I will be demoing in class, then you do not need this. 

·        Black Gesso (if you have a journal with Black pages, you will not need gesso) 

·         Acrylic matt paint: shades of red, orange, yellow and blues and greens. 

·         Various Alcohol and or washable markers

·         Small Cutting mats

·        Various Tracy Scott Flower and Pattern stamp sets (I have used TS067, TS048, TS094 on this page. Due to participants sharing a variety of my stamps if they don't have their own, outcomes would be different to the sample shown above) 

·         Brown or pink water soluble pencil, crayon, watercolour pencil or similar

·         Clear Embossing Powder
