This round vintage themed mixed media project will be completed using Dusty Attic chipboard and Stencils along with Flowers and resin embellishments. Learn some mixed media techniques for using sprays and stenciling with various products to finish a project ready to display. This workshop will run from Deb's place in Brookdale.
Your kit will contain will contain:
- DA0506 -Foliage (Half sheet)
- MDF Round base
- vellum leaf cluster die cuts
- Kaisercraft Botanica collection 12 x 12 Patterned paper - PI875 Seed
- 1 Pkt 49 & Market Flowers - Parden Petals Parchment colour
- Assorted sizes 49 & Market floral mixology- Mudslide colour
- Extra Chipboard for mounting purposes
- written instructions with process pictures in colour
Besides your basic mixed media kit, You will need to supply:
- Strong, quick setting glue
- White Gesso and wide brush to apply.
- Spray water bottle
- Soft flat Brush
- Paper towels and baby wipes
- Craft knife (new/Sharp Blade)
- Messy mat and heat gun
- Brown and Black archival ink and sponge applicators
- Photograph roughly 2 ½” x 3” that will need to be trimmed.
Deb has the following for shared class use (but you may want to bring and use your own to avoid waiting) :
- DA 2103 Burlap stencil
- Resin primer
- Finnabair white crackle paste
- Finnabair Liquid acrylic - Burnt Sienna
- Finnabair Phoenix effect paste
- Finnabair Wax ( Matte rusty brown, Stained wood and vintage gold) with stencil brush
- Distress Texture paste - Matt
- Metallic sprays and plain sprays (Deb used Tattered angels and Lindys Stamp gang - but any metallic sprays in orange, green and brown will do )
- Black and brown archival ink with script and small foliage stamps
A small amount of consumables will be available for purchase on the day should you need it. If you are new to these classes and do not have some of these supplies, please message me and we can make arrangements.
A confirmation email will be sent within 24hrs once booking and payment has been confirmed. Please be aware that if you are unable to attend the workshop after payment has been made, your kit will be held for pick up or posted to you at an additional cost.
